A pair of mirror vocals "Kagamine" in which Rin stands for "R" and Len stands for "L", left and right mirror/vocal. Rin was first in development, then Len; being eachother's counterparts.

Vocaloid fandom wise, many peoplez see Rin/Len as siblings. It iz true that was the original plan, but it was never went through with hence Asami Shimoda(voic provider) liked all interpretations of Rin/Len. That of them either being siblings, in love/lovers, enemies, or even just good buddies! :3

FUN FACT(s)

The Kagamine project was very rushed, and turned out horrible. A new 'update', ACT2, (which was actually just a full new release) was put out soon after and given out for free to ACT1 owners.

Len was originally intended to be a girl, shown in early concepts:
